Monkey, Monkey? by Snuppy

WHEN we woke up this morning and realized it was yet, another Monday, we groaned and considered rolling over and going back to sleep. Especially after we saw THIS, for it made us feel like insignificant dancing monkeys, even as it made us laugh. Obviously, we were unable to go back to sleep–did we mention it’s Monday?–but since we don’t want to feel insignificant and/or laugh all by ourselves, we’re hoping you’ll watch the video and join us in realizing we’re not all we’re cracked up to be. (Then again, maybe we are.)

BY the way, for those of you unable to view and/or comprehend the potential ramifications of the video, why not ASK PANSI? That said, this blog takes no responsibility if Pansi’s illustrious and very important career gets in the way of her ability to react and/or respond to anyone anytime soon.

That was interesting…very well done…humbling.

You must be referring to someone else. Je suis une loupe.

Comment by Walela

Bobo: humbling? or hopeful (it explains a lot, and provides a nice excuse for a lot more!) xox

Walela: based on TODAY’S WORD, aren’t you infering “nous sommes toutes les loupes”? (more or less…) xox

cj: yeah… it’s impossible to go wrong with monkeys… or Pansi! hope you had a wonderful weekend, tho’, with all that partying, i’m guessin’ you’re exhausted! xox

GDB: uh… cousin. no, uncle! ….nephew? hmmm. guess we’ll all need to ponder that one! xox

Penguin: no pretense… yet i suspect you evolved from a MUCH higher order than the rest of us! muffins? mmmmm. i LOVE it when you bring such yummy treats!! xox

Pansi: well, i figured we needed the perspective of a (former?) NG4J to set the record straight! (i was SO sure there was flawed logic in that film…) xox

FF: as long as you show up at some point in the day with your beautiful smile, you are NEVER too late! xox

CJ: your pictures are FABULOUS! everyone must go read YOUR POST… and see your photos (if only to admire the handi-work of your husband, who made some mighty cute PENGUINS!!) looks like a good time was had by all! and in the end, that’s all that counts, right?? well done!! xox

Everywhere I go today there is Monkey Business….what gives? Did I ever tell you that I had a pet monkey once? Oh!! I get it we are all monkeys…..that explains a lot.

Mo’a: you know, i used to call my oldest son “monkey” when he was a little boy, and he used to look at me and pout and say “I not a monkey, Mommy… I a punkin’!” soooo sweet! (even if he really *was* a little monkey) xox

🙂 Thanks snuppy we had such a nice time taking all those piccys.

Thea and Grace are both monkey kids with how much they like to feel and try to pick things up with their feet!!

Comment by cj

I call my youngest monkey all the time, the kid climbs everything!!!!

Comment by jodes

CJ: your pictures were delightful…and your kids are just the right age to act like little monkeys. but they’re cute little monkeys, right? 🙂 xox

Jodes: welcome! and climbing is another requisite for being named monkey, isn’t it? sigh. my youngest (who’s now 22) used to climb up his dresser in order to get to his baby aspirin. (come to think of it… maybe that explains his current affection for pot!??) glad you could join the Snark Party… hope you’ll come back (bring your friend… everyone’s welcome!) xox
